Sunday 29th November 2009 Important Information about the day CLICK HERE The Co-operative 5k Santa Dash, taking place at Sportcity, Manchester on Sunday 29 November, will finish an incredible fundraising year with a bang, bringing together hundreds of people from The Co-operative staff, their families and friends plus members of the public in the traditional red-and-white of Father Christmas. This light-hearted event is open to everyone who wants some festive fun whilst donning a Father Christmas outfit to run, jog or walk the 5K route. The Co-operative 5K Santa Dash aims to bring some early Christmas cheer to the streets of Manchester. Peter Marks, Group Chief Executive of The Co-operative, who is starting the run at 9.30am, says: ‘I encourage everyone to sign up to this spectacular and eye catching event and put Manchester on the map alongside other great cities across the globe who stage Santa Dashes'.
